Healthcare is facing significant societal challenges in the coming decades. To help address these challenges, we invest in innovative research and collaboration. By bringing together the knowledge and expertise of researchers from within and beyond LUMC, we advance our understanding of how diseases develop, improve early diagnosis and prevention, and develop more effective treatments for patients.
Healthcare innovation is vital to tackle the challenges that society will face in the next few decades. We believe that combining cross-border expertise from inside and outside the LUMC will help us achieve greater innovation and solutions to biomedical problems. Together, we work on identifying the causes of disease, improved diagnosis and prevention to develop more effective treatments.
